Poem in Your Pocket and Problem in Your Pocket!

Today we celebrate "Poem in Your Pocket" and "Problem in Your Pocket" for Literacy and Numeracy Week. Throughout the day, teachers would ask you to either recite your poem or to share your mathematical problem. You were also able to buy books in our school hall to support Literacy and Numeracy Week.

Literacy and Numeracy Week

Today 6G students went around to K-6 and taught a 30 minute lesson about the book “Banjo and Ruby Red” for K-2 and “The Stone Lion” for
3-6. Each class did different activities for each grade, Kinder - Buzz off and a Dot to Dot, Year 1 - colouring competition, Year 3 - spelling bee and sketch to stretch, Year 4 - Kahoot and role play, and Year 5 and 6 - Kahoot. We enjoyed teaching all the children in K-6

Book Week Parade

Today we celebrated Book Week by having a parade. We had to dress up as a character from one of our favourite books. Each grade paraded around the school hall showcasing all our amazing outfits. It was a really fun day!
